Tendencat e Pagave dhe Hendeku i tyre ne Shqipëri
This report analyzes wage trends and the existing wage gap in Albania. It explores the challenges surrounding the minimum wage, which, despite nominal increases over the years, still does not cover the basic living expenses of individuals and families. The report also discusses the lack of a designated public authority to set minimum wage levels or living standards, and the weak role of social partners in the decision-making process. Furthermore, it highlights the importance of having reliable, up-to-date labor market data to support improvements in wage policies and address disparities between the public and private sectors.
