About the project 

To analyse corruption in the perception of citizens in Albania (Durrës), Serbia (Smederevo) and Kosovo (Lipjan), the Albanian Center for Economic Research (ACER, Albania) in collaboration with the Institute for Corruption Research (KAREYA, Pancevo, Serbia ) and the Organization for Democracy, Anti-Corruption and Dignity – COHU, Pristina, Kosovo), with the support of the Western Balkans Fund, have undertaken an anti-corruption survey based
on a special questionnaire, in the framework of the project: “Promoting Collaboration Between Civil Society Actors in the Fight Against Corruption”. Through a face-to-face survey process, information is being gathered about issues such as: the causes and extent of corruption at the local level; assessment of the provision of key public services such as education and health services; the general perception of citizens on the trends of corruption during the last three years, as well as some of their recommendations for improving the situation in the
selected municipalities in each country
