ACER analyzed the olive value chain in Kurbin to identify opportunities for local development. Key challenges include lack of processing infrastructure, market access, high input costs, and insufficient government support. Migration has also reduced skilled labor availability. While World Vision Albania provided some assistance, broader support and subsidies are needed. Future efforts should focus on collaboration, market development, and targeted policies to enhance quality and inclusivity in the sector.
