The report discusses the Bajkaj-Palavli Landfill project in the district of Delvinë, Vlorë, financed through the World Bank’s Integrated Coastal Zone Management and Clean-Up Program (ICZMP) with contributions from the Albanian government and Austrian grants. The project required the acquisition of 8.28 hectares of land affecting 21 plots and 20 landowners. A Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) was adopted in October 2011 in accordance with Albanian regulations, World Bank policies, and a 2010 Environmental and Social Safeguard Framework.
