This national survey on the identification of existing vocational training opportunities for returned migrants in Albania was created and conducted as part of ongoing activities by the Government of Albania and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) to implement the National Strategy for Migration 2005-20091. The survey forms part of the project: “Support to the implementation of the Albanian National Strategy on Migration”, funded by the European Commission and the Italian Government.

IOM selected 2A Consortium, composed of the Albanian Centre of Economic Research
(ACER) and the Albanian Socio Economic Think Tank (ASET), to create and conduct the survey.

The main scope of the survey was to identify current opportunities for vocational training for
returned migrants
